I was on a submarine underway from Pearl Harbor and we were stopping in Ketchikan, Alaska for a port call. We were getting let off in loads and I was in the first party. We got ashore and quickly found the thing that had been missing from our lives the last month and that fit neatly in pint glasses. The bar we found it in was called the Crow and all they have on tap is Moose Drool. I had never heard of it being from Iowa and all. What ever, it was beer, how could it be bad. Then I got a glass and saw what looked like the dark stuff I usually run from. So I tried it. Wow, was it good and smooth! It was all we could do to keep the poor bartender running after us. We even had to help her change the keg. Moose Drool, I love you.
