One fine ThursdayI was droolin' over dinner and created this:
Smothered in Drool Pork Chops

4 pork chops (1-inch thick) (I prefer boneless sirloin chops)
2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1 teaspoon black pepper or Mrs Dash table blend seasoning
1/3 cup flour
salt
olive oil
1 Tbs butter
onions, sliced
1 cup water
1 cup brown ale (such as Moose Drool)

Season pork chops with seasoning salt and pepper, coat completely with flour. Heat oil in heavy skillet. Add pork chops and brown on each side (about 3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside. Add oil (if needed), butter and sliced onions to the pan drippings, salt lightly and cook for 1 minute. Add remaining flour continue to stir until onions and flour begin to brown. Add water and beer, bring to a boil, stir until incorporated and return pork chops to the gravy, cover skillet, reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes until gravy is thick and pork chops are tender.
