On Fat Tuesday evening 2008, in the midst of a snowstorm that closed schools, etc., my wife and I went to Duggan’s Pub. A Grateful Dead knock-off band called the Jerry Pranksters was playing. We were there because one of the members of the band is a friend of my wife’s and we thought it would be good to support them. Normally on Fat Tuesday the place would be so crowded that you could barely move. This night there were all of ten or fifteen of us.
We went to the bar and asked what was on tap. When my wife heard “Moose Drool” she said “you’ve got to try that.” Then she and the bartender kept teasing me about it until I ordered one – how bad could it be?
Well . . . it’s Really Good. So, by the way, are the Jerry Pranksters.
My introduction to Moose Drool.
