Last summer I worked in Yellowstone. I traveled there alway the way from Virginia expecting to be spending most of my times in the woods. When I got there I found out I would be living in sub standard dormitories, eating crappy cafeteria food, and working 9-12 hours shifts 6 days a week. I worked in the restaurant as a busboy at the Old Faithful Lodge. We were understaffed and the restaurant is huge. I had expected to be hanging out with a lot of cool and interesting people and going camping and hiking all the time, but.... The job got old really quick due to the hours, some of the other staff, and alot of the customers. I was working so that I could come enjoy one of our last great natural areas and instead I was kissing up to people who had enough money to travel in their motorhomes and stay at the fancy lodge. I felt that most of them didnt even have an appreciation for where they were and the state of our environment. However not everything about my experience was bad, I got to see alot of amazing places , meet people from all over the world, and I had alot of fun traveling and doing new things. One of these new things was Big Sky beer. Drinking Moose Drool and Summer Honey was a great a way to sit back and relax and breath the fresh air. I have a great picture of chilling out some summer honey in the remaining snow around a lake 7 miles deep into the yellowstone back country. I saved the front of the sixpack for moose drool and summer honey and I have them on my wall . I have drank many beers in my travels and I hold these two beers within my top 3 for their categories. Thank you for brewing and keep up the work in providing alternatives from the yellow beers.
